More than 30,000 meals delivered so far this year, with busiest months still to come.
Huge thanks to more than 30 schools, churches and other organisations who donated Harvest food to the Food Hub in October.
Along with donations from many families and individuals, it meant we were able to provide food for approaching 4,000 meals for clients and their families during the month, taking us past 30,000 meals in 2022 so far.
With our traditionally busiest months of November and December to come, small bottles of squash and 500g packets of sugar and long grain rice are among our Top Ten priority items most needed this month, along with tinned peas, carrots and potatoes, and tinned rice pudding.
Also listed are cartons of long life whole milk for clients’ children and packets of sweet biscuits. Unisex shampoo and washing powder capsules/tablets are this month’s most wanted non-food items.

We are glad to receive donations on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday mornings between 9.00am and 12.00midday at our base at Purley United Reformed Church in Purley town centre (next to Purley Hospital). Or they can be dropped off at any of our local in-store and roadside collection points listed here.
Thank you everyone for your continued generosity. To date, you have helped us to provide more than 275,000 meals since we started in 2013.
