Catholic men’s group pass on Covid-19 pandemic savings.

Trevor Jones, Chair of Purley Food Hub, recently received a cheque for £900 from Mike Fisher (pictured on left) and Sean Sogeler from Purley Catenian Circle.

The Catenians is an organisation of Catholic men who meet socially and from time to time raise money for local good causes. The Purley group is made up of men who mainly worship at St John the Baptist Church, Dale Road.

Mike, the outgoing President, says: “Because of the Covid pandemic, our social activities have been severely curtailed but as a result we have saved a tidy sum of money! And so we would like to donate £900 to the Food Hub.”

Thank you Catenians for your generosity.
