Volunteers, supporters, donors and friends are all warmly invited to attend.
All of the Food Hub’s volunteers, supporters, donors and friends are warmly invited to our Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 18th October at 7.30pm at Christ Church, Brighton Road, Purley CR8 2BN. Tea and coffee will be served from 7.15pm and parking is free.
We will be welcoming two guest speakers, Sam Pearson from St Francis Food Stop, Sanderstead, and Major Emma Spencer from The Vine Food Bank, New Addington. Sam and Emma represent two of our partner organisations, which include Purley Food Stop and Croydon Nightwatch, whom we are able to support thanks to the many generous donations that we receive from supporters.
Also speaking will be Food Hub volunteer Julia Lee, who will outline the specialised work of her team of Client Support Volunteers.
The agenda includes reports from Chair of Trustees Trevor Jones and the Management Committee’s Acting Chair, Louise Willmer, as well as publication of the Food Hub’s Annual Report for 2021/2022.
The Report has contributions by Trevor, Louise and the board of Trustees, and covers the highlights of the past financial year, a guide to different ways of supporting our work, a statement of financial activities and a feature article describing a typical week in the life of the Food Hub.
