September’s list includes dried potato, dessert foods, toothpaste and baby wipes.

Packets of 80 tea bags, packet or tinned soup and tinned hot dogs and meatballs head the list of eight items that we especially need for the Food Hub’s clients in September.

Also listed are packets of dried potato, tinned dessert fruit and dried packet custard, while this month’s most needed non-food items are toothpaste and baby wipes.

Just under 3,280 meals were delivered to 364 Food Hub clients and their family members in August – almost 950 more meals than in July and well over double the 1,550 meals provided in August 2021

We are enormously grateful to all the many people and organisations who donate food to us. Thanks to you, overall since 2013 we have provided 270,000 meals for 30,000 people.

You can bring donations on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday mornings between 9.00am and 12.00midday to our base at Purley United Reformed Church in Purley town centre (next to Purley Hospital). Alternatively you can drop them off at any of our local in-store and roadside collection points listed below. Thank you all.
