Milk, plain meat and dried potato among items most needed in March

Once again long life whole milk tops our list of food and other items most needed for struggling clients and their families in March.

Tins of plain meat – ham, spam and chicken – and small packets of dried potato are also listed, along with packet custard, chocolate drink needing hot water and small bottles of squash. Non-food items we especially need this month are size 5 nappies and baby wipes, unisex deodorant and small washing up liquid. Click here to view this month’s full list.

As always, donations can be brought any Monday, Wednesday or Friday morning between 9.00am – 12.00midday to Purley United Reformed Church in Brighton Road (next to Purley Hospital) or dropped off one of our in-store and roadside collection points. Full details here.

We are so grateful for everyone’s continuing generosity – it means that since 2013 we have been able to provide more than 250,000 meals to local people going through a time of crisis.
