Tinned fish, dessert fruit and pasta sauce also needed.
Jars of raspberry and strawberry jam and small packets of breakfast cereals join cartons of long life whole milk at the top of the list of items needed most for Food Hub clients in October.
Tinned fish (particularly tuna) and dessert fruit and small jars of spicy pasta sauce are the other food items especially needed at this time. Unisex deodorant and female sanitary pads complete October’s list.
As always, donations can be brought to us at Purley United Reformed Church on Monday mornings from 9.00am – 12.00noon, otherwise on Wednesday or Saturday mornings. We also have more than two dozen in-store or roadside collection points where donations can be left. Full details here.
We thank all of the Food Hub’s supporters for your continued generosity. Since 2013, you have kindly helped us to provide nearly 240,000 meals to struggling clients and their families.
