‘Colleagues have been a delight to work with – such amazing efficiency and dedication’.

Rev Lisa Fairman-Brown retired as a Food Hub Trustee in July after leaving Christ Church, Purley to become Vicar of Lyminster and Wick in West Sussex. Lisa writes:

“A fond farewell to you all at Purley Food Hub. It has been a real joy to serve as one of the Trustees while I have been here in Purley.

“Now as I move to Littlehampton to serve the churches and people right across the area, I want to say a fond farewell to the team of Trustees who have been such a delight to work with. My very grateful thanks also to the Management Committee for their amazing efficiency and dedication and who, along with all our volunteers, deliver essential food supplies to those who need them most.

“It’s such a vital expression of the loving generosity of our God who supplies all our needs. My prayer is that you and all our clients know in ever-increasing m easure the power and presence of Jesus at work in you.

With love, Lisa.”

Trevor Jones, Chair of Trustees, added: “The Trustees and Management Committee have been very grateful for all of Lisa’s contributions and support, and we wish her God’s blessing as she moves to pastures new.”
