Dannielle Batten kindly delivered to us yesterday (Wednesday) the tins of food and other items donated in the One Tin Initiative yellow bin that she and husband Ian have installed outside Elmfield Vets in Elmfield Way, South Croydon.

We also received food yesterday from other local bins, including a delivery by Neil Bicknell from Heathhurst Road, Sanderstead. We now know of at least half a dozen yellow bins that have set up in the Purley, Coulsdon and South Croydon areas inviting people to donate food to the Food Hub.

Thank you to everyone involved in this initiative – and to the generous people making the donations.
