Cereals, sugar and whole milk needed – along with honey, tinned food and toiletries

500g packets of breakfast cereals and bags of sugar are at the top of the list of items that we need most for Food Hub clients and their families in May, along with cartons of long life whole milk for clients’ children.

Also listed are small jars of honey and tins of ham and chicken, tins of peas and carrots and tinned rice pudding.

This month’s non-food items most needed are unisex deodorant, adults’ and children’s toothpaste and washing powder tablets.

We are grateful for every single donation received, big and small. Please bring them on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday mornings to our base at Purley United Reformed Church in Purley town centre (next to Purley Hospital), or you can drop them off at any of our shop and roadside collection points listed below.

Thank you everyone for your massive support – since 2013 you have helped us to provide 260,000 meals to hard-pressed clients and their families.
