Annual Report highlights new ways of working and supporting.
All the Food Hub’s friends, supporters and volunteers are warmly invited to our Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 5th October, 7.15 for 7.30pm, at Christ Church Purley (between 861 & 863 Brighton Road, opposite the Rotary Field).
Guest speakers will include Pastor Nick Graves, who runs Purley Food Stop at Old Lodge Lane Baptist Church, Julia Lee, the Food Hub’s Client Support Volunteer and Sarah Burns, Head of Communities with Croydon Voluntary Action.
Ahead of the AGM, the Food Hub’s Annual Report has just been released. Its main item is the report from Food Hub Chair Trevor Jones, who addresses the issue of our future direction as pandemic restrictions are lifted. Supporting this are reports by the Trustees and Management Committee Acting Chair Louise Willmer.
Also featured are highlights of the past year’s activities in words, pictures and numbers, a round-up of new ways in working by our volunteers and supporters, an insight into the vital role of our Client Support Volunteer, and the annual financial statement.
